Bilateral Education Agreement (BEA) Scholarship Awards 2025/2026 Fully Funded for Nigerians to Study Abroad

The Federal Ministry of Education in Nigeria is offering the Bilateral Education Agreement (BEA) Scholarship Awards for the 2025/2026 academic session. These fully funded scholarships enable qualified Nigerian students to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate studies abroad. 

Participating Countries:

Undergraduate Studies: Russia, Morocco, Hungary, Egypt, and Algeria.

Postgraduate Studies: Russia (for candidates who obtained their first degrees in Russia), China, Hungary, Serbia, and Romania.

Eligibility Criteria:

Undergraduate Applicants:

Minimum of seven distinctions (A's and B's) in WASSCE/WAEC (May/June) in subjects relevant to the intended field of study, including English Language and Mathematics.

Certificates should not be more than two years old (2023 and 2024) for non-African countries, and one year old (2024) for African countries.

Age limit: 17 to 20 years.

Postgraduate Applicants:

First degree with at least a Second Class Upper Division.

Completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.

Age limit: 35 years for Master's and 40 years for Ph.D. candidates.

Additional Information:
