Call For Applications: NBA HBCU Fellowship Program 2025 (Fully Funded)

The NBA HBCU Fellowship Program is a paid 10-week summer internship designed to provide career development opportunities in the business of basketball for undergraduate and graduate students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Fellows are selected by NBA teams and the league office to work in various departments, including ticket sales, corporate partnerships, legal, social responsibility, and marketing. 

Key Details:

Program Duration: June 9 – August 15, 2025

Orientation Dates: June 4 – June 6, 2025

Application Deadline: December 31, 2024, at 11:59 PM PST

Compensation: The fellowship is paid, with travel to the internship location and housing provided. 


Eligibility Criteria:

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at an HBCU.

College sophomores, juniors, seniors, graduating seniors, and graduate students are eligible.

Must be eligible to work in the U.S. (including F1 students eligible for OPT/CPT visas).

Ability to work full-time for the program duration.

Availability to attend the HBCU Fellowship Orientation.

Must be over the age of 18 by June 4, 2025.

An official transcript from the HBCU undergraduate or graduate program is required to verify eligibility. 


Application Process:

1. Complete Application Profile: Submit your application by December 31, 2024.


2. Select Positions: Choose up to three jobs that align with your interests and experience.


3. Video Interview: If selected, you'll be invited to submit a video interview in late January.


4. Interviews: Selected candidates will participate in phone screens and virtual interviews in March. MIT Fellowship Program
