The primary objectives of the UP4C Leadership Program include:

Empowering Young Leaders: By placing decision-making power in the hands of youth, the program ensures that initiatives are directly informed by those they aim to serve.

Promoting Inclusivity: With approximately 20% of the population being neurodiverse, UP4C focuses on creating accessible and supportive learning environments for all.

Advocating for Best Practices: The program seeks to raise awareness and expand funding for effective strategies that support neurodiverse individuals.

The inaugural cohort of UP4C Leaders brings a diverse range of experiences and perspectives, including personal experiences with learning differences, advocacy backgrounds, and aspirations in special education. Their collective efforts are geared towards destigmatizing neurodivergence, enhancing teacher training for individualized education programs (IEPs), and promoting economic mobility for neurodiverse individuals.

Through this initiative, IYF aims to create a more inclusive world by empowering young leaders to drive meaningful change in their communities and beyond.
