About Ban ki-Moon Centre Youth Agrichampions Program For Young Agripreneurs, Check out and Apply.

The Ban Ki-moon Centre for Global Citizens (BKMC) is currently accepting applications for the 2025 Youth AgriChampions Program, a Peer2Peer workshop series focused on climate adaptation in agriculture. This initiative brings together young smallholder farmers and agricultural entrepreneurs from Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, and Zambia to share their experiences and develop a youth-led demand paper on climate adaptation practices. 

Eligibility Criteria:

Aged between 18 and 35 years.

Citizen or national of Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, or Zambia.

Engaged as a smallholder farmer, agricultural entrepreneur, or employed in the agricultural sector.

Experience working on climate adaptation projects or possessing relevant expertise.

Strong interest in agriculture, climate change, and food systems.

Program Details:

The workshop series is scheduled as follows:

Workshop 1: May 14, 2025, 16:30 – 18:30 CEST

Workshop 2: May 21, 2025, 16:30 – 18:30 CEST

Workshop 3: May 28, 2025, 16:30 – 18:30 CEST

Closing Ceremony: July 10, 2025, 16:30 – 18:30 CEST

Participants are expected to attend all sessions. Upon successful completion, they will receive certificates signed by Ban Ki-moon and join the BKMC Youth AgriChampions Alumni Network.

2. Highlight Your Climate Adaptation Efforts

Explain any climate-smart agricultural practices you use or promote (e.g., soil conservation, water-efficient farming, regenerative agriculture).
