The Geneva Challenge 2025, officially known as the Advancing Development Goals International Contest for Graduate Students, invites master's students worldwide to develop innovative and practical solutions addressing the challenges of migration. This annual competition, organized by the Graduate Institute of Geneva, encourages interdisciplinary collaboration among teams of three to five graduate students from diverse academic backgrounds. 

Key Details:

Prizes: A total of 25,000 CHF is awarded, with the winning team receiving 10,000 CHF. Two teams in second place are granted 5,000 CHF each, and two teams in third place receive 2,500 CHF each. 

Finalist Presentation: Members of the five finalist teams are invited to Geneva to present their proposals, with travel expenses, including flights, visa costs, and accommodation, covered by the competition organizers. 

Eligibility: Participants must be enrolled as graduate students at the time of registration. Teams should consist of three to five members, representing at least two different disciplinary perspectives. Proof of enrollment is required for all team members. 

Regional Categories: Prizes are distributed across five categories based on the location of the universities: Africa, Asia, Europe, North America and Oceania, and Latin America.
