The Global Fellows in Courage (GFiC) program is a six-month accelerator designed to empower young social entrepreneurs advancing human rights and gender justice. In partnership with the Brown University Center for Human Rights and Humanitarian Studies, the fellowship aims to enhance the effectiveness of emerging leaders committed to driving social change.

Eligibility Criteria:

Aged between 25 and 35 (exceptions possible).

Minimum of three years' experience in human rights advocacy, activism, community organizing, or social entrepreneurship.

Demonstrated engagement in gender justice or related areas.

Proficiency in English. 

Application Process:

1. Online Application: Complete the application form available on the Global Fellows in Courage Application Portal . 

2. Resume/CV: Upload a current resume or CV detailing your professional experience.

3. Essay Responses: Provide thoughtful answers to the essay questions outlined in the application.

4. Submission Deadline: Ensure all materials are submitted by April 1, 2025. 

Selection Timeline:

Semi-Finalists Announcement: May 1, 2025.

Interviews: May 12–16, 2025.

Final Fellows Announcement: June 1, 2025. 

Program Expectations:

Virtual Sessions: Attend two 3-hour Zoom meetings per month from July to December 2025.

Pre-Work: Complete assigned videos, readings, and short tasks prior to each session.

Project Development: Work on a project that advances your mission, culminating in a presentation during the final session.

Coaching: Participate in group coaching and meet individually with a coach at least twice monthly. 

Benefits:

Stipend: Receive $2,500 upon successful completion of the program.

Grant Opportunity: Eligible to apply for up to $10,000 to support your project.

Certification: Earn a certificate of completion from GFiC and Brown University’s Center for Human Rights and Humanitarian Studies.
