The Global Landscapes Forum (GLF) is offering paid, remote internship opportunities for individuals passionate about sustainable development and environmental conservation. These internships are designed to provide hands-on experience across various GLF teams, including Youth Programs, Communications, and Knowledge Management.

Internship Opportunities:

1. Youth Program Team & Youth in Landscapes Initiative (YIL):

Assist in expanding the YIL network through community engagement and outreach.

Support the Restoration Stewards program.

Tasks may include program planning, meeting coordination, social media content creation, volunteer management, and research on young changemakers. 

2. GLFx Program Team:

Support local organizations and partners leading restoration activities within the GLFx network.

Responsibilities include program planning, social media content creation, online community engagement, and meeting facilitation. 

3. Communication Team:

Contribute to digital storytelling efforts by creating engaging social media content.

Assist with live event coverage and collaborate with influencers and journalists. 

4. Knowledge Team:

Organize and curate the latest knowledge on sustainable landscapes.

Tasks include event coordination, speaker engagement, and managing multimedia content in the Knowledge Hub. 

Eligibility Criteria:

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant MSc program (e.g., Environmental Sciences, Sustainable Development) or a BSc with at least two years of relevant experience.

Excellent command of English; additional languages such as Spanish, French, or Portuguese are an asset.

Strong organizational, communication, and digital skills.

Experience with social media, content creation, and event management is an asset.

Comfort with remote work is preferred.
