Admission Requirements
To be eligible for the MIDE program, applicants must:

Hold a first academic degree equivalent to 180 ECTS credits (typically a Bachelor’s degree).
Have completed at least 15 ECTS (or three modules) in Economics-related subjects.

Demonstrate proficiency in English. No separate proof is required if the previous degree was taught in English.

Prepare Documents: Gather your transcripts, CV (Europass format), motivation letter, English proficiency proof, and passport copy.
Online Submission : Complete and submit the application form via HTW Berlin’s online portal (available July–September). Do not apply via Uni-Assist.
No Application Fee: There is no fee for submitting your application.

Letter of Motivation: Max. two pages, personally signed and dated.
Transcript of Records & Degree Certificate(s): With CGPA. Non-English/German documents must be officially translated.

Grading System Explanation: Indicate the maximum and minimum passing grades from your university.

Curriculum Vitae (CV): In Europass format, signed and dated.
Copy of Passport
Proof of English Proficiency: If required.
Note: Certified hardcopies are not needed at the application stage. These are only required if you are admitted and accept your study place.

DAAD Scholarship Opportunity
Applicants from developing countries with at least two years of post-graduation professional experience may apply for the DAAD scholarship. The MIDE application form includes a specific section for the DAAD scholarship; additional documents will be required and processed jointly by HTW Berlin.
