Background
UNDP operates in more than 170 countries and territories, with over 17,000 staff members committed to ending poverty, building democratic governance, strengthening the rule of law, and advancing sustainable development. Digital technology has become one of the most significant drivers of transformation in this mission. Since the launch of its first Digital Strategy in 2019, UNDP has sought to harness technology to improve development outcomes. The current UNDP Digital Strategy 2022–2025 envisions digital as an empowering force for both people and the planet.JPO Positions

The Chief Digital Office (CDO) leads this transformation by embedding digital solutions into development projects, supporting governments in building inclusive digital ecosystems, and driving internal reforms to make UNDP a digitally agile organization.
